Faiz Rahman D.O. is an Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy. He has extensive experience treating a broad range of conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. His treatment philosophy is centered on holistic care for orthopedic injuries, including both nonsurgical and surgical care.
A native of Orange County, Dr. Rahman is proud to serve the community in which he grew up. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. He continued his studies at Western University, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific where he obtained his Osteopathic Medical Degree. Dr. Rahman completed his orthopedic residency training at Broward General Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. As a Level I trauma center, Broward General provided an intense program with an emphasis on high energy traumatic injuries.
Dr. Rahman completed his training with a fellowship at the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Institute in Sherman Oaks, where he mastered the newest techniques in the arts of arthroscopic and less invasive surgical care for the injured athlete. During his fellowship, he worked closely with the sports medical staff at local high schools and Universities. Dr. Rahman provided hands on training and treatment to these elite athletes.
Dr. Faiz Rahman is blessed to be a second generation Orthopedic physician, following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Hamid Rahman. Collectively they deliver the latest and most innovative Orthopedic treatment modalities while maintaining core family values.
A proponent of patient-driven medicine, Dr. Rahman strives to educate his patients on their conditions so that they may work together to make informed decisions regarding their treatment and optimize each individual’s personal care.
Dr. Rahman believes in staying active and well rounded. He enjoys restoring and rebuilding classic automobiles, along with participating in sports car events. He is competitive sportsman and avid traveler. Dr. Rahman is a proud father and family man.
Dr. Rahman is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO), American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the California Orthopedic Association (COA), and Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).
